Design in D-Town

I've been looking around at tons of Dallas Decor boutiques lately in an effort to finally let Dallas in (well, at least a little bit...). I've lived here for almost a year, and although it's not bad, I still don't feel like it's truly my home.....

Enter: Home Stores.

I'm going to do a series on Dallas Home Stores. ENJOY!

First let's talk about the first Dallas home store I discovered, Again & Again.

Let me first say, this store is FABULOUS. There are two locations off of Henderson St. in Dallas. One has vintage furniture that can be used as is or can be modified by one of A&A's craftsmen. The second location has furniture and home accessories (pillows, lamps, and mirrors) that have already been styled by the owner.

I went by there a few weeks ago with my friend Jill, who loves vintage furniture as much as I do and they had some amazing new stuff.

This buffet was gorgeous. They had repainted it a gloss white. I have been wanting something like this forever. It's very sixties retro, which is a style that I'm becoming more obsessed with by the day.

Love these lamps! What a great punch of color to a room with neutrals.

These chairs are great. My sweet mom recently nabbed me a new dining table at an estate sale. Since it's a classic farmhouse style, distressed wood table, I would like to offset it with more chic, modern chairs. I'm going back and forth on two types of chairs. I've been a long-time fan of the Louis XVI chair, especially when they are modified in a modern way. I'm also LOVING chinese chippendale chairs like these. LOVE THEM. Sooo chic.

These chippendale chairs were in a recent issue of Coastal Living. FAB.

I love chippendale chairs in white or gloss black paint, but I'd really like some that had patterned cushions, instead of plain white.

I love this navy ikat print with white paint.

More tomorrow on fun Dallas Places!
