In keeping with the 1960's vibe (because that's what I'm in the mood for right now) I wanted to note Trina Turk's ever stylish Look Books. These photos are a mix of different seasons but I love how she consistently has an early-mid sixties feel to her clothing and her advertisements.
I visited the Trina Turk boutique in Meatpacking when I was in NYC recently, and I have to say that as always, her fresh, fun store was a lovely change from the dreary weather.
Every time I go in there, I feel like saying " Ok, yes. I'll take it. ALL OF IT...."
I'm pretty sure that 90% of these photos were shot in Palm Springs.
Which makes me love them even more!
I love this, Marilyn, trying to channel Jackie in front of a Mid-Century Modern house/building.
Ahhh, Pillows! Gorgeous prints!
These could help me with my fear of color!
Trina Turk's style makes me want to jet to Palm Springs, with a suitcase full of her clothes, and lounge by the pool with a cocktail in a fabulous Mid-Century Modern House.
Like Frank Sinatra's Twin Palm's Estate
Which, by the way, you can rent.
For $2,600/night. What a bargain.
Loving the capiz flower pendant light
What a pretty bedroom. Does anyone else LOVE that headboard?
And at night.
I could just have a martini straight up with two olives, Wearing this....
